Land O' Lakes was recognized for their innovative use of analytics and data to drive more effective collaboration and improved sales and profits for Land O' Lakes and their customer, Kroger. Specifically Land O' Lakes is using Market6’s Saas-based analytic applications against a shared platform of Kroger’s daily store/item level sales and operating data to collaborate more effectively with Kroger around all core business processes, including sales tracking, promotional execution, supply chain planning and inventory optimization.
Year to date, these efforts collectively allowed Land O' Lakes to help Kroger grow category sales of butter faster than the market overall. At the same time Land O' Lakes was able to reduce out of stocks by 50% and lower post promotional inventory levels by 50% on a key promotion.
